Routine Appointment

To request a routine appointment:

  • phone us on 0131 441 3119, Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm
  • visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Urgent Appointment

To request an urgent on the day appointment:

  • phone us on 0131 441 3119, Monday to Friday from 8am.
  • visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8am.

We cannot guarantee that once the urgent on the day GPs slots are full that you will be seen that day and may be asked to call the following morning.

Our trained Reception Staff will still ask the nature of your problem in order that they can triage you to the correct Health Professional as not all health problems need seen by a GP.

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:

  • face to face at the surgery
  • by phone

All our appointments are face-to-face unless a telephone call is specifically asked for and definitely won’t require to be examined by a GP.

Home visits

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.

To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone the practice before 10am.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

To cancel your appointment:

  • phone us on 0131 441 3119, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm
  • reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message

  • if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by face-to-face or phone.
  • if you need an interpreter
  • if you have any other access or communication needs
